FAQ

Frequently asked questions about coffee origins

What green coffee origins do you offer in your catalogue?

Our catalogue includes: Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe, Sidama, Guji), Brazil (Cerrado Mineiro, Sul de Minas), Colombia (Huila, Nariño, Antioquia), Vietnam (Dak Lak, Lam Dong — Fine Robusta grade 1), Kenya (Nyeri, Kirinyaga — AA and AB lots) and Yemen (Haraaz, Bani Matar — limited micro-lots). Catalogue updated according to harvest seasons.

How to choose an origin for professional use?

For volume espresso (HoReCa, offices): Brazil or Vietnam for consistency and body. For signature or boutique coffee: Ethiopia or Colombia for aromatic profiles. For a premium or differentiating micro-lot range: Kenya or Yemen. We prepare personalised selections on request.

What is the difference between Arabica and Robusta for professionals?

Arabica (60% of world production) is grown at altitude, with fine acidity, complex aromas and a light to medium body. Robusta has a fuller body, more persistent crema and roughly 2× the caffeine content. For high-crema espresso blends or high-volume recipes, Robusta is often essential.

Do you provide lot-by-lot traceability?

Yes. Each lot comes with an origin sheet (producer or cooperative, region, altitude, variety, process), a cupping report (SCA score, tasting notes) and logistics documents. This information can be used directly by your teams for product communication.

What happens if an origin is out of stock?

We maintain a substitution profile list for each active origin: same aromatic family, similar price range, verified availability. If availability changes on a harvest, we contact you in advance with a validated alternative to avoid any range disruption.

What is the wholesale price per kg for green coffee?

Prices vary by origin, grade, process and ordered volumes. Specialty Arabicas typically range from €4 to €12/kg in green coffee depending on harvest. Fine Robusta grade 1 from €2 to €4/kg. Volume pricing is available from 60 kg. Request a quote via the contact form.
